In line with the National Vision 2030 , that of Zimbabwe being an upper middle income society by 2030, and the Continuous Quality Improvement ‘KAIZEN’ philosophy , that the MoHCC is operating under, as Chivi district hospital, we are endeavouring to play our part in the achievement of these goals.
Therefore, we aim to deliver a high quality service delivery system to the people of Chivi and Zimbabweans as a whole who we have the privilege to attend to. And that quality service will be inspired by KAIZEN and the service will be a world class service which speaks to Vision 2030.
This is all done under the direction and guidance of the Masvingo Provincial Medical Directorate which is headed by the Provincial Medical Director, Dr Shamu who is the Chair of the Quality Technical Working Group at National Level and indeed inspired us as the District to come up with these initiative, the Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement Directorate at Head Office and our Implementing Partners.

A Covid-19 isolation area was opened and we are equipped and capable of handling a number of covid-19 patients. We are also now vaccinating surrounding communities that come to the hospital with the sinovac and sinopharm doses provided by government
